Rabbit: Music Fortune

1. Information We Collect

Information stored only on your device

The core of Rabbit: Music Fortune runs locally. The following is saved on your device and is not transmitted to our servers:

• Your saved tracks, playlists, and favorites
• Search history within the App
• Cover-art images you add from your camera or photo library
• App settings, preferences, and notification reminders
• Your daily fortune selections and reading history

Information processed to provide features

• Music search queries. When you search for songs, artists, or albums, your query is sent to Apple's iTunes Search API to return matching results and preview artwork.
• Network connectivity status. The App checks whether your device currently has an internet connection. This is a purely on-device check and involves no request to us.
• Diagnostic & crash data. To keep the App stable we may collect anonymous crash logs and basic usage analytics (see Third-Party Services).

2. Device Permissions

You can change or revoke any of these permissions at any time in your device's system settings.

3. How We Use Information

• To provide, personalize, and improve the App's features
• To return relevant music search results and artwork
• To deliver reminders and fortune notifications you opt into
• To diagnose crashes and understand aggregate, anonymized usage
• To maintain the security and reliability of the App

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising profiling.

4. Third-Party Services

The App relies on a small number of trusted providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Apple iTunes Search API — returns music metadata and preview artwork for your searches.
• Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, and Cloud Messaging) — provides anonymous usage analytics, crash reporting, and push notifications. See Firebase Privacy.
• Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — delivers notifications on iOS.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Content you create in the App lives on your device and remains until you delete it or uninstall the App. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data. Anonymous diagnostic data held by our analytics providers is retained according to their standard retention periods.

6. Children's Privacy

Rabbit: Music Fortune is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. All network communication is performed over encrypted connections where supported. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Because most data stays on your device, you can exercise many of these rights directly by editing or deleting content in the App. For anything else, contact us using the details below.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be announced within the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
